Who I am

Troy The Barber ("I", "me") operates this website and the one-chair studio at Studio 5, 12 High Street, E1 6AN. I am the data controller for the personal data described here, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What I collect and why

• Bookings — name, UK phone number, email, service, date and time. Used solely to manage your appointment and send confirmation and reminder messages.
• Contact form messages — your name, email and message, used only to reply to you.
• Push subscriptions — if you opt in, your browser's push endpoint and keys are stored so appointment reminders and studio announcements can reach your device.

Storage and sharing

All data is stored locally on this website's own server. It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or passed to third parties. Push delivery itself is performed by your browser vendor's push service (e.g. Apple, Google or Mozilla), which is how Web Push works on every website.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time, or withdraw push consent (your browser settings let you revoke notifications instantly). Email troy@troythebarber.co.uk or use the contact form. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Retention

Booking records are kept for up to 24 months for diary and accounting purposes, then deleted. Push subscriptions are deleted when you unsubscribe or when they become stale.
